Silk Microdevices is developing the next generation of electric motors for humanoid robots. Our technology allows our motors to be at least 10x stronger and lighter than what’s possible with traditional solutions. This matters especially for humanoid robots, because the majority of the volume, weight and cost is currently taken up by actuation. Our motors allow for much more capable robots, while freeing up space for more batteries and more powerful compute.
